SekChek Classic
The Scan software for SekChek Classic must be run on the target system. Note that the Scan software does not have a traditional setup routine and makes no changes to the host system, including the System registry.
See the following pages for details of how to run the Scan software:
SekChek Local
The Scan software runs on a network-attached workstation and scans the target system over the network. The Scan process creates an encrypted output file and requires you to obtain an Access Token to unlock the Scan file and create a report database.
See process overview for a general overview, and running a SekChek Local Scan for detailed instructions to run a security scan.
For correct results, please ensure you run the Scan process with the Administrator account.
